Opportunity for Growth
Spherion's general staffing model is available in many mid-sized cities and towns as well as some more rural areas. Our territories are protected for 10-year terms, so you won’t compete with other Spherion franchisees. Multi-unit ownership is possible.
As a Spherion franchise owner, you'll primarily support light industrial and administrative positions. In some markets, franchise owners have the opportunity to pursue professional staffing and recruiting as well. Our general staffing model involves working hand-in-hand with local companies to source skilled talent for temporary, temporary-to-hire, permanent, and flex positions.
Spherion’s staffing model performs regardless of the economic climate. In growth periods, companies need more hands to scale; during downturns, they rely on flexible staffing to stay lean. By operating in the middle of that exchange, our franchisees become a vital part of their local business community.
Support & Training
Our support is our signature. No franchisee opens their doors less than fully prepared. New Spherion franchisees receive more than 380 hours of training/support for planning and opening your franchise during your first 90 days as a franchisee. Our corporate support includes in-person and web-based training for:
- Staffing Industry
- Profit Center Management
- Sales
- Marketing
- Human Resources
- Office Technology
Once you open, we join you in the first month of operation to continue building your confidence as a new staffing business owner through sales and operations skill development. This additional in-person assistance helps you jump-start revenue growth while making room for you to focus on clients and candidates. We offer concurrent training to your new and seasoned staff members to support their professional development and ensure a fast start to revenue generation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal Spherion franchise candidate is a growth-minded leader who combines proven B2B sales experience with the ability to manage P&L and scale a business. They are community-connected, tech-forward professionals who embrace a hands-on owner-operator model to drive long-term market growth. Our most successful franchisees know how to build a strong team around them that can sustain successful client and employee relationships.
We have military veterans, first-generation business owners, and multi-generational owners in our franchisee family. Spherion franchisees employ a strong work ethic and collaborative leadership strategies that create a legacy while providing employment opportunities.
